What Was Not Named
This project explores the relationship between time, medication, and the female body. It began as an attempt to understand the effects of breast cancer treatment and evolved into an exploration of menopause and the silence that still surrounds women’s health.
Through self-portraits and empty medication packages collected over more than five years of hormonal therapy following breast cancer, the work examines repetition, the passage of time, and the traces that daily rituals leave on the body.
