Faces. Dance and Inclusion.

This project brings together portraits and photographs made during rehearsals, backstage, and on stage with dancers from Danza Aptitude, a project dedicated to artistic work with adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome through dance.

Through portraiture and movement, the photographs focus on each dancer as an individual while revealing the concentration, dedication, and work behind their practice. The project reflects on dance as a space for artistic expression, presence, and participation.
